Big Mommas House 2
On his latest assignment, Martin Lawrence as Big Momma, is an FBI agent who goes undercover dressed-up as an obese woman who calls herself Big Momma, and works as a nanny for three children: a teenage girl, a younger girl who loves dancing, and a three-year old boy who does not talk yet, but loves to dive horizontally to the floor from heights such as cupboards or bunkbeds. Big Momma has to follow a schedule on the wall, showing for every child and every hour of a week the child's activity.
As the sequel to the hit comedy five years ago, this version shows Lawrence with a new life in suburbia with his wife. She's pregnant now, and Malcolm is working in a low-impact public safety division of the FBI. When Malcolm's former partner is killed undercover, he takes it upon himself to investigate the crime. Malcolm pulls out the old fat suit and dresses up as Big Momma again to get a job as a nanny for a family linked to the crime. The plot unfolds with Big Momma becoming a wonderful influence on this family and helps turn them around.
Though some critics panned the film and thought a sequel was unnecessary, another sequel, called Big Momma's House 3, is scheduled for summer 2007.
