Finding Nemo
One of the brilliant movies made in recent times, Finding Nemo combines brilliant animation with a great story. It is about an overprotective clown fish father, as he desperately searches the sea for his missing son, Nemo . Marlin's (Albert Brooks) journey leads him beyond the Great Barrier Reef into deeper and darker waters, where he meets Dory (Ellen De Generes), who is forgetful yet optimistic and a number of not-so-friendly--and often very hungry--aquatic creatures. With its breathtaking animation, talented vocal work, and a well-written screenplay this movie is a sure winner all the way.
Finding Nemo set a record as the highest grossing opening weekend for an animated feature, making $70 million.
An interesting fact about the film is that many teachers use Finding Nemo to teach about ocean life, since it is almost completely scientifically accurate.
