One of the biggest hits of last year, Madagascar is a computer-animated movie produced by Dream Works Animation
The film tells the story of four Central Park Zoo animals who have spent their lives in blissful captivity and are unexpectedly shipped back to Africa, getting shipwrecked on the island of Madagascar. The voices of Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett Smith, Chris Rock and David Schwimmer are featured The story of Madagascar revolves around four friends, a lion, a giraffe, a zebra and a hippo who are the star attractions of the New York zoo. One of them goes missing and the rest of them go on a search looking for him and in the process manage to get themselves captured and put on a ship to Africa. There is an accident and all of them land up on the island of Madagascar instead. Splendid animation and great humour make it a total family film. Hans Zimmer's soundtrack for this film featured the song "Zooster's Breakout", which is played several times throughout the film and on the credits |
