Kiera Knightley plays Elizabeth Bennet one of five sisters of Mrs.Bennet who is anxious to find rich and worthy suitors for her daughters. Lizzie meets the hero, the famous Mr.Darcy at a ball. She finds him arrogant and he finds her barely tolerable. A romance blooms between Lizzie's sister Jane and Darcy's best friend Bingley. The rest of the story deals with the misunderstandings and misgivings between Darcy and Lizzie and how true love triumphs in the end. Great performances by all with an oscar worthy performance by Knightley makes this movie a must see this season. |
Pride and Prejudice is a film adapted from Jane Austen's novel Pride and Prejudice. This movie received a number of nominations in the 2005/2006 Awards season, notably four nominations in the Academy Awards, including Best Actress for Keira Knightley and Best Original Score
